Herbarium Taman Botani Perdana

The most recent attraction of Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly known as KL Lake Gardens, is the Herbarium Gallery Kuala Lumpur. The information graphics categorize different types of flora found in Malaysia according to their height, including montane, lowland dipterocarp, hill dipterocarp, and mangroves.
The museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. It is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Entry is not charged.

Herbal Garden

The sole tropical rainforest in Kuala Lumpur is located at KL Forest Eco Park, formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve. In addition, there is an orchid garden, enormous bamboo grasses and climbers, uncommon herbs, ferns, creepers, and unique herbs can be found in the herbal garden. This jungle is also home to enormous tropical tree species like Meranti, Keruing, Chengal, and Pulai. Learn about the different natural habitats and the conservation measures being taken to protect species by visiting the information centre.
